The Mahindra Scorpio-N facelift is just around the corner and dealerships in India have already begun to receive production units. Instagram videos of the SUV off transport trucks provide the best preview to date before its launch.
When Is the Scorpio-N Facelift Launching
It’s a time when Mahindra has historically revealed its big products and this year is no exception. The Scorpio-N facelift is anticipated to go on sale on August 15, 2026. This is expected, not confirmed by Mahindra yet, so it should be considered a tentative date.
What’s New Inside the Cabin
The dealership videos feature the highest-spec Z8L with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a similarly sized 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, both of which were taken from the Thar Roxx. The overall design is still the same mocha brown and black, but the AC vents are now horizontal rather than vertical as they were previously. The multifunction steering wheel design remains the same.
A big panoramic sunroof is one of the most noticeable features. As seen in the videos, it has a huge opening. The SUV also receives new 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels on the Z8L model which add a new look to the exterior.
Engine and Price Expectations
Mahindra is likely to retain the mechanical aspects unchanged. This will continue to be the case for the current 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines which will be offered in manual and torque-converter automatic transmissions. Four-wheel-drive versions are likely to continue as well.
It is estimated that the Scorpio-N facelift will be priced in the range of Rs 13.5 lakh to Rs 24.8 lakh ex-showroom pricing. Official pricing has not been announced yet, so it is best to wait for Mahindra’s confirmation nearer the launch.
The wait for the Scorpio-N facelift appears to be almost over with dealership stock already building up. Further information regarding the actual launch date, variant variants, and pricing is expected in the coming days.
