Maruti Suzuki has introduced the facelifted Brezza in India and the most talked about variant is the base LXi. The Brezza facelift base variant now has Maruti’s new turbo-petrol engine instead of the older naturally aspirated engine that was the case in most facelifts.
Brezza Facelift Price and Variants
The revamped Brezza was launched on July 24, 2026, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.40 lakh. After the complete price list for all variants was released on July 27, 2026, the top price of the range was Rs 13.55 lakh ex-showroom. There are four trims, LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+, with a total of 13 variants.
What the LXi Base Variant Offers
The LXi Base Variant provides the following features:
The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 110hp and 170Nm of torque, and is standard from the LXi level. This engine only comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Those who prefer the older naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine still have a 6-speed manual and automatic option.
The LXi cabin remains the same as Maruti’s base variant. A flat bottom steering wheel with soft-touch material, all black interior, fabric seat upholstery, and pre-wired space for an infotainment system later. The exterior colour options on this trim are restricted to four: Sizzling Red, Pearl Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver.
Safety and Booking Details
The facelifted Brezza received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection on 23rd July 2026, just before the launch. Maruti had already started the bookings on July 14, 2026, at a nominal price of Rs 11,000, via Arena showrooms.
The Brezza facelift base model fills the gap for buyers looking for a compact SUV with a powerful engine, but not a high-specification model. The turbo option without a mid or top trim is a change from the way Maruti has traditionally built its variants.
