Mahindra has issued media invites for a 3-day event in Mumbai on August 14, 15 and 16, 2026. It looks like the event will be one of the busiest product showcases the brand has ever organised for Independence Day. The BE.07 is expected to be joined by three models: the Scorpio N facelift, the Vision S, and the BE.07. But this is not three launches, this is three launches in a row. It’s one launch and two previews, and that’s a big deal when you’re considering booking now or later.
The Only On-Sale Product: Scorpio N Facelift
The media invite confirms a drive on August 15 which strongly suggests that the Scorpio N facelift is the only drive-ready, launch-ready product at the event. According to industry reports, on-sale deliveries are being targeted for the festive season (Diwali 2026). If so, the bookings may begin at or around the August 15 reveal.
Most of the changes have been confirmed by spy shots. The cabin is also getting a new dashboard inspired by the Thar Roxx, a new 10.25-inch floating touchscreen (up from 8 inches) and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. The one pane sunroof is gone and replaced by a dual pane panoramic sunroof. On the outside, check for a new front grille and bumper, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and new LED tail lamps.
Technically, Mahindra is introducing a 360-degree HD camera system which has been seen on the ORVMs and front grille, a Level 2 ADAS package with lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and collision warning. ADAS, in the simplest terms, is a system that assists the driver in steering and braking in some situations, but requires the driver to remain fully in control.
There will be no changes to the engine options. The 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol (203 PS) and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel (132 PS and 175 PS states of tune) are unchanged. The ladder-frame chassis and 4×4 drivetrain are also carried over, as are the 6- and 7-seater layout options. The industry trackers have estimated the ex-showroom price of the new model at Rs 13.80–24.80 lakh which is a small increase from the current model, but the estimates are not official.
The timing is appropriate. Official Mahindra data shows that the combined Scorpio and Scorpio N sold 14,097 units in June 2026, rising 10.65% YoY, and representing 23.34% of Mahindra’s total passenger vehicle sales for the month. The facelift comes just before the holiday season with the aim of holding the nameplate’s lead in the growing mid-size body-on-frame SUV market.
Vision S and BE.07: Worth Watching, Not Worth Waiting On
The Vision S and BE.07 are not expected to be launched at the event, but rather will be on display. Retail sales for both are anticipated in early-to-mid 2027, per industry reports. As of today, Mahindra has not officially announced the lineup of models for the event in August.
The August event will be your first real chance to see one of these two, but it’s still a long way to a purchase.
