👍 Things We Like

Excellent Range Options: Mahindra XEV 9S electric has two battery packs 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The range of the 79 kWh version is up to 656 km.
Fast Charging: XEV 9S electric supports 140 kW DC fast charging with DC supporting 20% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes.
Performance Oriented: The power of the motor is high: in the 59 kWh version, it is 228 bhp; in the 79 kWh version. The XEV 9S electric goes 0-100 km/h in ~6.7-6.8 s (depending on variant).
Single-pedal mode is also called regenerative braking, which is highly effective.
Tech-Rich Cabin: The triple 12.3', displays are very modern and high tech in touch. Level-2 ADAS suite included.
OTA (over-the-air) updates are supported.
Safety: Excellent safety features: several airbags (seven) and 360deg camera are available.
The XEV 9e has undergone serious crash-testing by Mahindra and therefore, it has a good structural integrity.
Spaciousness & Build Quality: The rear seat of Mahindra XEV 9S electric is decent, and 3 people can comfortably sit in the back.

👎 Things We Don't Like

Reduced Rear Visibility. Rear visibility is significantly obstructed by C-pillars.
High Floor & Entry Issues: The floor is too high and ingress/egress is somehow challenging particularly to shorter peoples.
Interface Complexity: Excess of virtual controls in the infotainment system may be distracting.
Some software malfunctions as complained by users (but they do not always have an impact on driving).
It uses its map system (MMI maps) rather than Google Maps.
Ride Comfort / Suspension: A number of users complain that the suspension is bouncy during drive.
Rear view may be further blocked by rear headrests.
