Pros & Cons of Maruti Suzuki Ignis

👍 Things We Like

Its Urban SUV design is different as it has a boxy shape and flared wheel arches.
It has 180mm ground clearance that gives more confidence on the broken roads than a normal small hatchback.
It has the 1.2L 4-cylinder engine, which is significantly smoother and stronger compared to the 3-cylinder engines of the Tiago or Celerio.
The high seating position and large glass area offers excellent all round visibility makes this suitable for new drivers.
Surprisingly, It has a large amount of head and legroom space for four adults, even though it has a very small footprint.
In comparison with Tata Tiago - The Ignis engine is smoother.

👎 Things We Don't Like

The back side design is a love it or hate it thing, which some customers do not like and consider to be old fashioned.
It achieved a safety rating of 1 star in the 2022 Global NCAP tests, which is a big disadvantage to safety conscious buyers.
The suspension is more on the stiffer side which implies that you will experience sharp bumps and expansion joints within the cabin.
The interior has not been significantly changed in several years.
